For my project, I want to show Gainesville as two worlds. The city is one of the worst in the nation for homeless people, but most of them live a few blocks away from downtown. While much of the community is made up of college students and middle-class families, there are less fortunate beings that are constantly ignored and pushed away. Everyone has had an encounter with a homeless person in Gainesville, but they never really think about what that person goes through on a daily basis or where they sleep. With my photos I want to compare and contrast these worlds and then combine them.
