a packer is not usually an inherently sexual object, and is not meant to represent sexuality in these photos, instead I was just exploring my relationship with dysphoria (the feeling that some transgender people experience in which they feel that all or part/s of their body do not match how they feel they should be in their head), and with my evolving gender identity, as well as with imposed or auto-enforced masculinity. I could keep going but i won't lol

Ideas for concept James Worthy

Idea for concept

My concept is focusing on worship in the christian church. How we worship in different denominations  musical instrumentation, praise and worship behaviors such as the way people act are they radical in their worship or are they conservative. It goes to say that even though we all believe in the same God is these protestant denominational churches we all have different customs and cultures with in theses churches.

Another concept is playing on what is good public art, what does it do to a public space. why is the art being displayed. different communities and areas have sculptural pieces that add to the scenery and beauty of the town. some may be their just for visual pleasure others for the reason of celebration etc. I want to analyze these public pieces of art and how they react to the space around them,

ANother concept is that of music, music culture is profound in todays society. different people listens to different kinds of music. Music in some ways define the personality of the people listening to it. I would like to compare a musical style, band, orchestra, etc. and them behaviors of the individuals listening to the music, such as dance, dress, expression, and appearance.

Self-doubt, helplessness, depression, and insecurities reside in many people, many whom choose to hide it. With an emphasis on Floridian women, I explore these emotions in a beautiful form that exposes the vulnerability and emotional harm that is caused by every day life. I portray honest emotion that will hopefully result in a connection among many young women in what they are internally battling with.
