I took this photograph my senior year in high school and named it Chieftain Child (it was part of a Minority Ideas concentration). I like working with face paint, models, and facial additives (when using photography) to create cultural significance in photographs as well as experiment with textures and lighting. (fun fact: I glued all of those feathers onto my model and photoshopped the beak into place)
